According to the Clause 38 of the Licence Conditions for Conducting Educational Activities, Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Language Nataliia Ladyniak has conducted a lecture in English on the subject «Formation of Information and Communication Competence of Philologists» for the first-year students of the specialty 035 Philology (Ukrainian Language and Literature). At the lesson the meaning of the terms «cloud», «cloud technologies» and «cloud services» were clarified. The advantages and disadvantages of applying cloud technologies in the work of a philologist were determined. During the lecture, the main models of cloud services such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS were considered. Аs well as the examples of work with Amazon Lightsail, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office 365, Dropbox, etc. was given.
Google cloud apps were the object of a detailed analysis.
At the end of the lecture, short video about artificial intelligence (AI) and its use in science was watched. Students took part in a small discussion about the advantages and disadvantages of AI for modern society. We are convinced that this problem is relevant today. It is appropriate to devote separate classes to its consideration.
ЛЕКЦІЯ З ТЕМИ «ЗАСТОСУВАННЯ ХМАРНИХ ТЕХНОЛОГІЙ У ДОСЛІДНИЦЬКІЙ ДІЯЛЬНОСТІ З ФІЛОЛОГІЇ» (доцент Ладиняк Н.Б.)
Доцент кафедри української мови Ладиняк Н.Б. відповідно до п. 38 Ліцензійних умов провадження освітньої діяльності провела англійською мовою лекцію з навчальної дисципліни «Формування інформаційно-комунікаційної компетентності філологів» для здобувачів першого курсу спеціальності 035 Філологія (Українська мова і література). На занятті з’ясовано значення термінів «хмара», «хмарні технології» та «хмарні сервіси». Визначено переваги й недоліки застосування хмарних технологій у діяльності філолога. Під час лекції розглянуто основні моделі хмарних сервісів IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, а також наведено приклади роботи з Amazon Lightsail, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office 365, Dropbox та ін.
Проаналізовані можливості хмарних сервісів Google Apps для науковців.
Наприкінці лекції було переглянуто відео про штучний інтелект та його використання в науці. Студенти взяли участь у невеликій дискусії про переваги й загрози штучного інтелекту для сучасного суспільства. Переконані, що ця проблема сьогодні є актуальною. Її розгляду доречно присвятити окремі заняття.
